Eye emergencies can happen unexpectedly, and some symptoms should be assessed as soon as possible. At Lio & Light Eyecare, we offer urgent eye exams to evaluate sudden changes in your vision, eye injuries, infections, and other concerning symptoms.

You should seek prompt eye care if you’re experiencing:

• Sudden vision loss or a noticeable change in vision

• New flashes of light or a sudden increase in floaters

• Eye pain, redness, or significant swelling

• A scratched eye or something stuck in your eye

• Chemical exposure to the eye

• Sudden double vision

• Light sensitivity accompanied by pain or redness

• Eye discharge or symptoms of a possible infection

• An eye injury or trauma

• A contact lens-related red or painful eye
